The estimated budget of this sci-fi flick is over Rs 400 crore.'Robo' is the biggest grosser in the careers of both Rajinikanth & Shankar. It collected a Gross of Rs 289 crore in 2010. A lot has changed in the past 7 years and markets have grown enormously. The biggest advantage for '2.0' is its casting. While Rajinikanth alone was able to fetch a Gross of Rs 287 crore for 'Kabali', Akshay Kumar who is essaying Main Antagonist could certainly generate a revenue of at least Rs 150 crore in Hindi circuit alone.Shoot of '2.0' is nearing end. Shankar is planning to release this sequel for Diwali 2017.
