Filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally is all set to direct superstar Mahesh Babu for the first time for a yet-untitled Telugu project. The project will be jointly produced by Ashwini Dutt and Dil Raju.

Producer Prasad V Potluri who was supposed to a producer the project was backed out from the project.
